Revisiting Stampede Style This Off Year
Stampede 2020 is like every other party this year: cancelled. Not so much “yehaw” as “you better stay safe” sadly. But don’t fret fashion friends, your cowboy boots and hats and buckles and Canadian Tuxedo will wait dutifully until next year.
Stampede Style is a Mini Vacation From Life
Since the world in on fire and we may have not yet reached rock bottom, isn’t it nice that for a few days our city comes together over communal joy and we can focus on that? It’s gorgeous respite, right? Thanks to the Calgary Stampede locals and visitors alike can come here and have a good time.
The Problem With Bro-Country Songs and Female Get Ups
Stampede has taken over our city yet again. It’s a hoot. I love that it brings people from all over the world to our city for one reason: to have a good time. I also love it because people put on some g-dang jeans. Other than the mountains, Calgary’s tourism scene is usually quiet. Stampede helps shake things up a bit. Yee Haw!
